At the start of this year but without a Pro edition, Oppo launched the F15. The telephone was not heard at all.
The updated F17 series is available today in two models – Pro and non-Pro, skipping directly to 17. For this realistic analysis we have the F17 Pro and let’s tell you more.

The F17 Pro offers a strange mix of a Super AMOLED screen, belonging to the lower end spectrum of the Helio P95 medium-range segment. Quick charging, unique quad configuration and exceptionally fine chassis are some of the excellent features included 30W VOOC 4.0.
In addition to hardware improvements to the Oppo F15, the F17 Pro is now available on the front of the software. The new ColorOS 7.2 has many clean sleeves including smart overnight launching, support for air movements and additional camera functions.

Ergonomics and architecture
The architecture of the F17 Pro is certainly one of the key characteristics. The handset looks elegant, but with a plastic back. Truly wise! Even smarter than the Reno4 Pro with a little strip from a more glossy camera module. The great thing about it is that the finish gives greater grip and does not require as many fingerprints as possible to label it a fingerprint magnet. It is a “fingerprint-proof” case, there is an explanation that Oppo claims.

Furthermore the side of our Mystical Blue paint has slight purple accents, which seem awesome. Depending upon the lights, the blue hue itself appears in various colours. The framework which combines all this is very similar to the one on the Reno4 Pro.

When it comes to the Reno4 Pro, on the F17 Pro the finish on the back is simple to keep and to write. It offers you a safe and stable grip. On the cheaper Oppo handset, it is weird to see a more luxury appeal. For a slim phone like the F17 Pro it is very rare. The unit is just 7,48mm in diameter, and the lateral frame can dig deep into your hand. That isn’t the case, though.

The front shocks with very narrow side lenses and most notably, the dual-front face camera has an impressively narrow break. We can’t list any numbers, but it sure seems smaller than most of the implementations we saw. The opening is just 3.7mm in diameter, says Oppo.

Also there is an under-screen fingerprint reader that fits well to evaluate the limited time that we have used it. In contrast to normal captivity it is reasonably reliable, but drags behind. This isn’t necessarily the case with Oppo smartphones in particular. To date, most smartphones of Oppo have offered quick and accurate fingerprints for under-display. Nevertheless the placement was our only complaint. The sensor should be a little higher because some finger gymnastics are required for current implementation.

Now let’s make a short photo of the hardware with the concept out of the way. The Super AMOLED monitor is the first thing to stand out. A fully HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pcs suits a diagonal of 6,43 inches and accommodates the front-facing cameras with a very narrow two-punch hole. Nothing is odd, really but the screen unexpectedly makes an impact as you apply 800 nits of peak luminosity advertised. Our experience reveals that the display is bright enough to read text outdoors conveniently, but images also loss much colour and contrast.
A right OLED panel is still more than welcome in a budget telephone like this. Widevine L1 certification is also granted so that you can improve the full HD content from Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.

The F17 Pro provides only one setup memory – 8GB RAM with 128GB expandable storage, as opposed to its non-pro equivalent in Pro. A MediaTek P95 sits behind the wheel, and we think it’s one of the only reverses of the phone in its entirety. Behind the Helio P95 is the very professional hardware, which is beautifully packed together. We don’t mean that it’s a bad soc, it just doesn’t seem like it’s a bad soc. The Helio P90 from 2019 reflects an additional update compared with its predecessor.

Oppo F17 Pro — Mobile 2020’s smartest
The new F17 Pro, the smartphone that will definitely rock you with its solid camera output, was unveiled by Oppo. The computer is powered by the new chipset MediaTek Helio P95. The Oppo F17 Pro processor is coupled with an 8-gigabyte gigantic RAM capacity. The SoC and the device’s RAM capacity are adequate to pull the games out or nearly everything in Oppo F17 Pro’s direction. The smartphone’s internal storage space is 128 gigabytes, again enough for every volume of data to be saved for modern use. The Oppo F17 Pro’s extra bright screen, mounted by a 6.43 inch panel on the front is also an AMOLED display, to do the work at bright light, without deceiving you. A super crisp, full HD plus 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution is supported on the monitor. Corning Gorilla Glass is used for security purposes by the current F17 Pro flagship by Oppo and bundles a powerful AI quad-camera system at the rear. The Oppo’s Pro’s main camera lens is an impressive 48 Megapixel sensor, which most tech companies have used for the most recent period and the worst. Indeed the ultra-wide phone sensor is an 8-megapixel sensor. The platform has a 2 megapixel macro lens as well as a two megapixel depth sensor to have the bokeh effect. Last but not only the Oppo F17 Pro. In the punch-hole the front-facing camera provides selfies with two camera. There are some excellent results predicted from the front shooter of the Oppo F17 Pro. The unit is coupled with a 4000 mAh battery with a reversible Li-Po capacity. Huawei’s gone, though, it looks like Samsung has another foreign rival, and F17 Pro seems to be just a start.

In view of the price point, Oppo F17 Pro is very competitive. It has a fantastic RAM, a good cpu. UFS disc.
You ask, what the phone is missing, because the specifications sheet. Honestly, at this price point it does way better than a few other tablets.
Gaming is smooth, multitasking is a breeze and the viewing experience is fantastic. Just one bigger battery should have been added by Oppo. The specifications are very high and this phone may have been unsuperior with a larger battery.
You shouldn’t expect too much, but we haven’t checked the cameras. They won’t be as good as flagship cameras, of course, but they are going to do a good job. Oppo’s algorithm “smooths” the picture up too much, is the only concern.
